A Hunt for "Baby Rock Apparel" and a "Trendy Remedy" For Shopping

When it comes to fashion, I have always found it much easier to buy for my girls versus the little man in my life. Casual clothing for boys that is as impressive as items being offered up for girls is often a rare find. Did you notice that I said "rare?" Rare does not mean that it is impossible. There are some companies out there that actually celebrate boys being boys in lieu of leaving them behind in a cloud of pink dust and cartoon-character branding. If you have boy/girl twins like myself, it's a real bonus to find a shop that offers equally impressive items for both. For those who find themselves mutually frustrated, I have decided to highlight two online shops that I recently discovered.

Trendy Remedy

Trendy Remedy sells super sweet shoes, accessories and more for boys in sizes ranging from infants to 8t. My recent picks from this site were the "Random Acts of Craziness" shirt and the "Twins Rock" tee.

The "Random Acts of Craziness" shirt offers a distressed-looking, "edgy" design on black with-you guessed it-"Random Acts of Craziness" blazing across the front. How adorable is that?

The "Twins Rock" shirt is one of the coolest designs for twins that I have seen. Trendy Remedy apparently realizes that a kid shouldn't be forced to look totally cheesy in order to brag about their "multiple" status. Even though this shop caters completely to the boys, I also opted to nab a "Twins Rock" tee for "Twin Sissy" as well.

BONUS KUDOS: We tested out the durability of a Trendy Remedy shirt and it passed our torture methods with flying colors. While wearing her tee, my daughter decided to sneak off to play with glitter, strong glue and paint. The results on the shirt looked beyond repair. There was glitter glued deeply into the threads of the fabric and it also acquired some seriously massive paint stains. I poured harsh stain remover, dish detergent, hairspray AND laundry detergent on the stains. I followed up with a very harsh scrubbing using a scrub brush. Amazingly the material survived the punishment and the shirt came out of the washer and dryer looking as good as new!

Baby Rock Apparel

Baby Rock Apparel is a sister company to Trendy Remedy. It offers the same great sizing options and even more cool designs-but this time the girls are brought in on the action. After all, girls can rock too! I know this for a fact. I happen to be one.

My must-have picks on this site are the "Honor Thy Mother" boy hoodie in black and the "Cherish Thy Father" girl hoodie in pink. These hoodies offer a positive message in yet another cool design. I dressed my twins in these on a recent group outing with friends. I found myself explaining more than once where I picked them up. Who can resist a great quality shirt for kids that gives props to Momma and Daddy with style? If I could give a "Hoodie of The Year Award" these would be the hands-down winner.
